True dual ?
I'm thinking of running some bullitt mufflers just a little past the cats i have the stock headers and was wanting to skip the x-pipe will this work? because it sounds like it would save me some money and what is the purpose of the x-pipe?

Loud is what I think he is going for. I love my cutout I think this would be the next step. I don't think it would be too much louder than say a loudmouth.

Re: True dual ?
Ok am not tring to start anything but why does it make more power. More back pressure or something. I do think it would maybe make it sound better. Thought am never heard one on a Ls1 befor. The mustang x pipes sound good. If it's not to much more hp than it's not owrth the extra 200 bucks for sound and a couple of horse IMO.
