...cant go wrong with a store bought ported TB. However, most do it themselves; its not hard

...see the net for instructions on self-ported TB....

Buy the way, the most effective part is to cut/file the butterfly stop on the outside of the housing. From the factory, the butterfly valve only opens about 90%....

How much gas do these new TB suck after install. Is a TB a good mod.

a heavily ported TB with a stop opening at 100% is not going to produce goobs of additional power (say 5-10HP max) but every little bit helps...

Besides, if you do it yourself, it is free...

When time comes for a ported throttle body im gona go with the Bauer. I hear so many stories about his customer service and so on.

Definetly use Bret Bauer or Mark Shaner. I got one from Jantzer and had trouble. Shaner and Bauer picked up on the trouble I was having and they were more than helpful.
