that's why it tell you to cruise for at least 3 miles at 55, then COAST to 20, accelerate 3/4 throttle to 55...it needs to learn how to do all this stuff again and adjust itself. it's like a little kid learning to walk all over again.
Gotcha !! will do !

i feel wierd, cause i didnt have a foot factor! actually i was the opposite! I put my true duals on at the same time as my LT's and i was so afraid of being pulled over that I kept my foot out of it for the first few days (save one 130 mph test run on the first night... for quality management only ) and then eventually became more and more used to it...

I've never heard of that driving cycle. I obviously knew that the computer needs to relearn things a bit, but didn't know of an actual method to do it.

If I've had the headers on the car for a week and done some partial throttle, regular cruising, and WOT runs, would that cycle still help me?

yea but it'll take a lot longer. the driving cycle does everything the computer can do. that's why you have to speed up, slow down, hammer it, coast, cruise for a few miles...it's everything the computer does. also, you should run your accessories too since your engine is constantly spinning them. the reason why people say the cars run better after a week of driving is because after a whole week, you eventually complete each step of a driving cycle. you're just taking a whole week to do it! if you complete this 20 minute prodecure right away, your week of driving just compressed into an episode of the simpsons.
