WOW the MAF screen

WOW the MAF screen You guys are going to think im crazy but i just removed my MAF screen and i cant believe the difference.I never bothered to do it before because i have done it a 100 times in my grand nationals and never noticed a difference.Well today i did it and it made a big difference.My car was running rich to begin with so i think thats why i noticed such a gain.I want to go 116 internaly stock at full weight before i put my heads and cam on and i have already gone 114 so i think this and a ported TB will put me there. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

John, get in touch with me when you get back into town. I want to talk about your computer editing. I would like to go up with you so we could split a room, and I can get my speedo re-cal, and maybe go with a new intake (delete EGR). Then we could strap them down together!

Re: WOW the MAF screen Yep, I gained 1.5 MPH taking out my MAF screen at the track. I pulled it out, and ran immediately after not giving the PCM time to adjust. I gained 1 FULL mph on the first run, and 1.5 on the next 3. Definately worth it....
