Default Which headers are best for me?

I have a lowered '99 T/A w/ a Flowmaster Cat-Back Exhaust and I want to replace the stock exhaust manifold, cats, and y-pipe. I want something that can be an everyday driver and on the weekends can go to the drag strip or go autocross. Anybody have any suggestions? Price within Reason, but not too important.

IMHO Grotts/QTP headers. Go HERE for more info, one of the best on the market...and they tuck up real nice for lowered cars from what I've seen.

I plan on getting the FLP's. Nice looking product, and you can switch between cats and an ORY.

i personally recommend QTP not because its what i run, but Barry is a great and to-the-point individual that is getting things done. now for icing on the cake you will enjoy their nice fitting (i am also lowered on a prokit), size options, install kit completeness and over all for the price i feel i got more for my dollar going this route.

Both FLP and QTP make a quality product. I personally like the FLP's better, because their setup is the same price as QTP's with a y-pipe and cats only. Either one would be a good choice.

MAC is the way to go.. LOL :cool Alot of other thing that you will find are personel based on your wants and liking.. Do your homework, find what fits your DAILY needs and go with it.. Headers and cat backs are personel. Very rarely do you find 2 that agree I did the MAC headers, Mufflex offroad pipe and 4 " cat back single hide away. I drive daily and love the power that i get from this system. My friend has true duels on his car and you cant hear yourself think..Trailer Queen in the making not a daily driver. Good luck hope this helps..

I like my FLP's for easy installation of the Cats for inspection time.I have no oil plug or Banging issues and they fit up tight.
BUT
I'd recommend Hooker Headers for your car. They have great ground clearence and the quality is real good now.I've installed a few of these systems and they impress me.Too bad they didn't make them when I bought the FLP's

My 2 cents. Bassani or macs if you want to very most clearance, decent price and dont mind losing a small amount of high rpm hp. FLPs has a nice kit but have heard of many installation and banging issues for a non-mechanic installer...and clearance does not apper to be as good as what I've heard about the QTP's. I went with QTP based on Barrys reputation, the structure and design. But if my car was lowered I would talk with grotty owners just to be absolutely sure.

FLP's all the way. Under 6 hour installation from start to finish. NO need to take coil packs off. Both sides installed from under the car.
