QTEC: whats the difference between race and emissions style headers?

Default QTEC: whats the difference between race and emissions style headers?

??? and another question, could I get hooker headers, add 2 QTEC cutouts right after the headers, then to my cat(s) then to my y-pipe via my loudmouth 3" exhuast?

The difference between that race and emission styly headers is that the emission style has all the air and egr hook ups so you can stay emission leagal. The race style dosent.

Race headers have no provisions for emissions devices such as EGR and A.I.R. On headers that normally have these part protruding from them, you can bolt on the emissions devices that normally bolt on to your stock manifolds.

As far as the secong question goes, I'm almost positive there is no room to put the cut-outs BEFORE the cats. Your best bet would be to buy FLP's headers which come with a y-pipe that you can easily attach and de-tach cats to.
