Differences in MAFTs?

I was wondering about the differences that I've read about in MAFTs. What are the differences and what do I need to look for. Since I did the header install I've been running a bit rich but can't afford LS1 Edit so I'm thinking about buying a good used MAFT since everyone seems to be dumping them for edit.

What specs are there that I need to consider?

I only know of 2 devices that modify the MAF signal. The SLP MAF Translator is the best though. I have it and it works great. Picked it up off of Ebay for $100.
