Default MACs on an 02Z

Thru the top or from the bottom??? Starting the install tomorrow and need to know that one thing... PLEASE HELP! <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />

Had mine professionally done and he went from the bottom. It still took him about seven hours.

Passenger side from the top with the coil packs removed,starter out and the drivers side in from the bottom with the oil filter out...... 6.5 hrs from start to finish by myself.... just take your time and enjoy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

You might want to look into any oil consumption problems from installing the headers? On the LS1 forum......guys who never had consumption problems before the header install now have serious smoke and oil consumption problems...even after tuning? This is after installing MAC headers and removing the cats? Nobody can figure out why.

im having problems puttting the passanger side on right now, i cant get it in, we have the valve cover off, ac compresser unit thingy pulled ou tto the side, but still hooked up,and it coils off, it still doesnt want go in. next step maybe to loosen the mount up and jack the side up? is it that simple?

7 hours?
Thats crazy!!
I did mine Saturday morning with my GM tech buddy at the dealership and we were done in like 2.5 hours, and that was with lots of breaks for staring at hot chicks and what not.

We raised up the motor (undid the motor mounts) and went in the bottom...no prob.
