Default NGK TR55s Q.

Are these plugs gapped for factory spec? I'm about to install mine today as I type these words.

Factory says .040 but those are for the iridium plugs. There is another thread in the General Maint. section about this and I've seen people say anywhere from .36-.50. So I don't know but would like to as I'm going to be installing the same plugs as you in about a week.

Gap them at .055 (This is what I have read on here since I can remember, and what the guy at Orielly's told me)

Most were right in that area right out the box, but I'd check them all.

Factory non-iridium gap is .060, per the fender sticker on my car. I like my tr-55's at .055, as do alot of people on the boards. They come at about this gapping, but it's always good to run through and check them all.

BTW - Dab some anti-sieze on the plugs too, not a whole lot though.

Stick them in with the gap out of the box, i think it is at .05. You will be fine with that.

I gapped mine at 0.060 as the car manual states to for plugs. Most were fine right out of the box.
