ASP pully or fluid damper

ASP pully or fluid damper On the final stages of building my 422 and I need to decide what pully to run. I currently have hypertech pullies but think I may be getting false knock from them. Seems that everyone is happy with the asp's but I've seen the sfi approved fluid damper on ebay and wondered if it woudl be a better choice.

Re: ASP pully or fluid damper Considering the dampening demands of a stroker crank, you may want to look at investing in a good, solid damper versus an ASP setup. I'm sure there are some folks using the ASP's just fine but if it were me, I'd go with something a bit more stout. A stroker is not a good place for crankshaft vibrations! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: ASP pully or fluid damper I have one of the "eBay" SFI balancers on my motor right now (which isn't back in the car yet). It is manufactured by C.A.T. and is SFI 18.1 certified.
A local friend of mine owns a speed shop and speaks pretty highly of the C.A.T balancers. They're not the absolute best, but they are good quality SFI approved balancers...
