If you want to delete it you'll need a block off for the passenger side exhaust if it has an EGR provision, and one for the intake, along with having the codes deleted to keep the SES light off.

if you still have an EGR fitment on your new headers you should keep it, it won't rob you any HP because it shuts off when you go to WOT.

But it's ugly as death........

Do your headers have provisions for bolting on the EGR? If not, you HAVE to scrap it. In this case you would want to get a 1-3/8" adjustable freeze plug from an autoparts store and stick in in the old EGR hole in the manifold. If they do have bungs, you can either leave it, or buy an adjustable freeze plug and some block off plates for the headers. You can get these from LS1speed.com (speed inc.) or make them yourself with some metal, a cutoff wheel, and a drill.

You WILL get the SES light for removing it, and it can only be turned off by getting the codes delted with a computer tune.

http://www.ls1camaro.net/sections.ph...ticle&artid=70 talks about !AIR and !EGR and has some pics. If you decide to delete EGR and associated codes, might want to consider getting rid of the AIR too.

uuhhh its either '98~'00 or '01~'02, the '00 came with egr/air, you have to have block off plates and the plug (universal, adjustable kind)...... for heavens sakes read the stickies up top
