Headers under the axel?

X-Pipe under the axel? Is there a way that i can get this kit --- http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...tegoryId=11525
or any other universal kit, and hook them up to pacesetter headers, and have the exhaust run under the axel out back, or do i have to do dumps? i dotn want to spend the money and have them go over the axel......any way to make dumps quieter and not have so much noise inside the car?

If you position the turndowns at a 45 degree angle facing toward the side of the vehicle it will be a lot quieter (less drone too) than just pointing them down. By their nature, dumps are going to be louder in-cabin with more drone than if the exhaust was run out the back. You can reduce the noise but it is just "the nature of the beast." Under-the-axle duals are the least common and you'll have to order your own bends or have a shop do it for you. FWIW, Speed Inc. will run them over-the-axle if you take it to their shop.

i live about 10 min from the speed inc. shop, i just dont want to pay $500 for them to run it over my axel.....what if i were to put somethin like a flowmaster outlaw series race muffler before the turn down?

Dumps will usually always give you some interior noise, especially running any kind of muflers that will actually FIT under these cars. I have my duals run under the axle and out the back, cost me $130 but I also had cats installed too. I did supply the tips and the cats.
