Default quick stupid question

hey guys
i tried searching but i can't find it. I'm pretty sure the factory y-pipe for a 00 TA is 2.5", but i just want to make sure. I'm ordering a cutout from summitracing and i want to make sure i get the right one. Im pretty sure the factory y-pipe is 2.5" but correct me if im wrong. thanks

Only stupid question is the one you do not ask. The Y pipe is 2and a half. Question friendly member here.

2.75 pipe....3 inch cutout is the one you want.

now im confused. The pipe is 2.5" but i want the 3". Will it fit?

Pipe is 2.75. 3inch cutout is the closest. I have one on my car and just put one on my girlfriends car. No one makes exhaust stuff for 2.75 inch.

so i should get the 3". If you don't mind me asking, why do they sell a 2.5" cutout.

Yeah...3in is the one you want. 2.5 is for any number of vehicles. 2.5 and 3 inch are probably the most common sizes out there.

Uhhh, you had me confused for a minute there, bro. The I-pipe is 2.75". The Y section comes into the I-pipe at 2.25" each.

Another quick stupid question... if a ghost commits suicide, does it come back to life?
