removing WS6 hood baffles

Is it worth it removing the hood baffles? ARe there any bad consequences? Is it is worth it then how exactly do you remove the baffles?

The baffles are adding flow restriction into the lid. Idea is to get as much air into(and out of) the motor as possible. Gains are negligable, though every little bit helps in the long run <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

No probs associated w/removing it unless you fish out of your car..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Drill out the rivits holding the(top)baffle in place and wiggle the baffle out. Enjoy.....

The baffles are easy to remove. You have to drill out there pop rivets and they will come out. They may stick a little but will come free. There is a Ramair kit you can buy that replaces the baffles and funnels the air directly and smoothly into your air box. BG Ramair kit. I have one and it works well.. Click below.
