Y-PIPE RUBS I just lowered my car 2" and on the drivers side of the y-pipe hangs down lower than the pass side is there a way to fix it or is there another Y-pipe I can buy that will sit up higher than the stock pipe? If so where is the best place to by one? Thanks

Re: Y-PIPE RUBS Definitely don't buy the SLP Y pipe if it is clearance that you are looking for. Mine hung down lower than my FLP's & Y pipe do. That's the reason GM bent the stock one to hell on the drivers side.
Re: Y-PIPE RUBS I just put on a drive shaft loop and had the Y pipe bangin it. When I adjusted the Y-pipe one sid was hanging down lower than the other. The way I corrected this was to loosen the Y-pipe at the three connections but did not remove the hanger. Now I put a piece of wood of the correct thickness on the passenger side to maintain clearance then I put the floor jack on the drivers side Y-pipe and lifted it up to the correct position. The wood kept the pipe from getting too close on the passenger side then I tightened up the bolts to the y-pipe at the three joints. Good luck. I think this will fix it.
