Default Water Pump leaking

Well, saw a wetspot under the car after work today. Put it on the lift and there is a small coolant leak. It is coming from the bottom of the waterpump housing/pulley area. Any advice on waterpump R&R? Or any walkthroughs anywhere? I'm a tech at an Audi dealership so I'm really just looking for any vehicle specific issues. Oh, how many seals are there and what locations are they at? Thanks.

That is the weep hole most likely. Telling you to replace the pump.

Pretty easy to replace. There are two Oring gaskets.....they can be reused but for the couple of bucks....I'd replace em. Also an Oring on the thermostat. It should be OK...but again....might want to replace it. Although the thermostat isn't as hard to remove if it leaks...

6 bolts holding it on. Take off the bolts, belt, and hoses....and it's off.

LS1howto.com should have the TQ specs on the bolts. I'd like to say they are 22 ft-lbs, but don't quote me.....
