the corsa sounds like **** with a cam.
If you don't have them money for all the other goodies to make it loud with the magnaflow, you can always hook up a e-cutout.
Good friend of mine has a stock LS1 TA with Jet Hot long tubes and an ory and it is loud. No rasp at all. I hear him coming inside my house from down the street. A little quieter at idle than my Borla but cruise sounds great and wide open is wicked. After thinking about it, I realized the number one reason people add custom exhaust systems to their car is to make their car louder and it is usually the first step people take when modding their cars to go faster. There aren't many other important benefits that an exhaust can give to your car. I know this next subject doesn't apply to everyone, but it does to me. My 2002 Z28 only has 30,000 miles. I cherish the thing like my kid. The thing is, I know for a fact that I will not keep this car forever. Once I get older, I'll set my views on an even faster, luxurious car (hopefully a Vette). So this is what got me thinking. When you're going to resell your car, do you think that 95% of your potential buyers give a rat's *** on what kind of exhaust you have? I know many people prefer for the car to be a virgin and mod it themselves. I know, I was the same way.
I'll try to conclude this in a couple sentences. Basically, if you're positive that you will resell your car in the future, then spending more money on an exhaust is pointless because it will do very little in the value department for your car. The louder the exhaust, the more of a turnoff it could be for potential buyers. If you have enough money then go ahead, buy the better, more expensive exhaust. If you're looking to save money, go with the cheaper exhaust (MagnaFlow, in this case). Now, I know some of you will say that you can just take the exhaust off and sell it when you're selling your car. Well, for one thing, the value of the exhaust drastically lowers and secondly, there aren't many people who want to buy a used exhaust system. I apologize for the extremely long post. I hope this helps you.
