HELP!! cutout ?s I just put my cutout on and it sounds great runs good, But....
the SES light came on after about a 1/2 hour of driving. that is the only mod on my car besides a flowmaster, Is this a problem or do I just ned to reset my computer for some reason---please help---I dont know.

Have the code scanned and get back to us as to what it is. Autozone will tell you for free. It will be P0234 or something to that nature. Write it down, then you can look it up, and we can diagnose the problem.

I had the cutout put just before my rear axle. last night I unhooked my battery
for about an hour, After that the SES light has went away, I really dont know
why that showed up. Its gone for now BUT.....

ditto. i think i am going to have to go the way of the cut out, beats buying a whole new catback. if you can try and get a sound clip i would be interested in what it sounds like as well

It does sound good here are some pros and cons I noticed
PROS
1.Noise
2.Seems to pull harder top end
3.If you dont like it, Put your cap back on until you run it
at the track
CONS
1.Back pressure sometimes makes a whisping or poping when let'n
off the gas(annoying)
2.Sometimes sounds like a tractor, muffler sounds cleaner
3.Drone,Drone,Drone

I put mine in front of the axle, that might make a little difference, and the size and the radius of the bend on the cutout maybe might effect how the exhaust pulse flows threw the pipe and muffler. Im a novice,and im sure someone could

The code has not came back, there is a drone from 1200 to about 3000rpm above that it is not as bad. It is louder than my capped exhaust in the car.
If your looking for noise, It gets you there, I still think it sounds cleaner with it capped going threw my flowmaster. But, then performance is not there
