Default Headers?

Are there any headers that I can get that are street legal, as far as emissions, and won't void the warrenty. Also, will I have to bet a new Y-Pipe. I can see how the stock one would restrict the flow, it is flat. I have heard that LT's are better, but I have to keep the car street legal. I am in California, they are serious about that stuff. Any help is great.

I couldnt get my LT's to pass. The shorty headers are CARB certified and are street legal b/c they bolt up to the stock manifolds. I think thats your best bet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

Unfortunately, in CA.... if you want to be legal & pass a real inspection, the parts must be certified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

The only headers that will get a CARB certification are shortys that install with the stock cats. A long tube set won't get a certificate because they move the cats further back from the OE position.
