True duals idea, tell me what you think I have been looking into getting some true dual dumped at the axle with no cats (Florida).
Its aparent that a cat less car gets a little smelly, especially when dumped under the car, while idling or anytime the car isnt moving
I want a healthy roar to come from under the car though, so i was thinking of buying a pair of high flow cats instead of mufflers. So i get a loud sound, but not smelly!
so thats would be cats only, no mufflers
Has anybody done this, would it sound like doo-doo?

I never noticed any smelly-ness without cats when mine was dumped for a year. Cats + no mufflers would sound nasty (bad nasty, not good). And that dog is ******* ugly as sin.

I didn't hijack, I offered some advice. The mufflers are going to produce the kick *** sound, my duals got a little more splatty sounding every now and then after the cats.

Ditch the cats - get some good muffs - I have no cats and never notice any smell other than fuel burning off after a hot run. Cats actually create more stink as they burn off your CO gases - thus the signature rotten eggs smell you get from suv's as they struggle up hills....

Anyway, cats will kill teh agressive edgy tone to your exhaust. Itll come out smooth and creamy. It will still be loud though. Id opt to do the normal no cats with bullet mufflers and just deal with the smell though.

Eh, **** it, too easy.
Anyway, they make some really small cats now, I'm sure a good shop could find a way to get them in there, along with some good mufflers.
