A lid will be a great investment, I have the SLP, and of the mods I have done(intake lid, ram air, exhaust), this one really seemed to wake my car up. I would also take a look at the post about the Texas Speed and Performance lid, that looks like it would be a great deal on a new product. I couldn't comment on the Mass Air Flow Sensor, I don't have that yet.

I definetly agree. I have the MTI lid, and I am very happy with it(comes in Carbon Fiber, Clear, Colored...etc.). I would most definetly check out www.ls1.com and www.installuniversity.com if you have not done so yet. They are great sites with some "free" mods that are great to start out with. I would absolutely do the free ram air mod especially with a lid/filter setup. The sensor you were referring to is most likely the the SLP Mass AirFlow sensor, which I have heard mixed results about. I would try to port your MAF first(another free mod). From what I hear it gives you about the same results with a lot less $$$.

I agree.

A MTI lid, Free Ram Air Mod, a Ported MAF (which I left the vane in the middle but narrowed it with a mill and did alot of porting) and a Bauer Ported TB. That right there is about $320, and is going to be all most all of the induction mods you will need.
