Default 2000z28 manifolds vs. 2002 SS manifolds?

I got a set of 2002 SS Exhaust manifolds. I currently have a 2000 z28 and was wondering if there would be any performance gains by swapping them out? I know that these would get rid of my EGR which would be nice, but is there any thing else that could be good by doing this? Could you port them maybe and get a little more out of them or is that a waste of time and money? Thanks for any suggestions!

All '00 and up manifolds are the same except for the '01-'02s which are minus the EGR. All of the '00 and up can be port matched to the heads. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
