Re: help on slp pully Yes, he is correct. The SLP u.d. crank pulleys do not work out on the LS-1 engines. I had big knock retard problems w/mine on my '99 SS right around 5k rpm. Changed to ASP--no more problem. Get rid of it. I thought SLP was no longer selling these, also. If you bought it used, bounce it back to who ever sold it to you....Almost EVERYONE knows of this.. Re: help on slp pully DO NOT INSTALL THE SLP UD PULLY!!!!!!! I did not realize they still were selling those...or you bought if from a individual. In any case...they have a bad harmonics problem at about 5200 rpm which will make the car miss badly. Get the ASP pulley it has no problems. Oh yeah, just call your GM dealer for the crank bolt.
