Question Ram air question

Has anyone ever tried using either the two large ports on the grille of the camaro, or the two small ports on the front of the firebird for a ram air setup? Is it possible? is it worth it? Im thinking about getting the ftra, but worrying about overheating issues.

Thanks!

I have the FTRA and I haven't had any issues. Has it run a little warmer? Yes but nothing to be worried about(I have an autometer gauge so I know I'm getting accurate readings(the stock gauge is a dummy gauge).
