Default older qtp collector ?

is there a huge diifference (performance wise) in the older qtp collector design and the new hvmc design?

Maybe none at all. Better design would net you some different power be it torque or horsepower. Check with QTP for a more drawn out correct answer.

We answered your PM as well but might as well answer this for everybody else.
There are gains. And well worth it. That is why we make the HVMC. No one esle makes them like we do. A full high velocity merge collectors with the cone made out of the tubes. Made with the correct angle and neck. We have found a gain of 5-10hp and 8-12hptq on stock cars. 370TQ on a bolt on car over here. But the gasins are not just peak. Its shows across the board. And of course the more power you put out the more the difference is. Put down 515hp/493tq on a 402 with our 1 3/4 HVMC. If anyone has an questions call us we will happy to answer this in detail.
