Default Power steering pump puking fluid

Anyone know of a good fix for my 02 ls1's power steering pump puking fluid out the top (cap) during road racing. It has the factory p/s cooler. I'm thinking it is probly caused by high rpms, but the steering is being worked hard aswell. This happened at a high speed lapping day type event, and a lower speed autocross. If its rpm related would an underdrive pulley solve it? Any ideas for mods to the pump itself?

The Fbody pumps are well known for overheating on road course events. Some have had it happen just playing around town. I'm not sure what the best "fix" is...I don't know if the corvette pump is any better (I think it just has a better cooler system). Do a search and see what comes up...I know I've seen several threads about it in the past couple of months.

You need a turn one pump.
