Oil Consumption solved....

<strong> I have the car below with only 16,000 miles on it and had a bad oil consumption problem. 1 Quart of Mobil 1 5w30 every 500 miles..!!!! Updated the PCV valve with the new one from GM (which solved the deceleration smoking with the MAC's and some of the consumption) and changed to Royal Purple 20w-50 and 90% of the consumption has been reduced.

I heard thats too heavy and will casue a big loss of HP! any ideas? my car never used a drop of oil before the headers with Amsoil 10w-30
