Drain Plug???

Drain Plug??? Is there just one drain plug on the LS1 cars, which is under the radiator? There must be another one so you can actually drain the coolant out of the engine without taking your thermostat off and making a big mess.

The 2 block drain plugs are removed with a big allen wrench, and are almost impossible to access.
Drain the radiator at the lower radiator plug. Then remove the hoses at the water pump. About another quart will come out. Fill the system with water, run the engine, and do the same thing until just clear water comes out.
