That's your water pump pulley. Id try to use a flexible magnet to fish it out.

i just had it running.. you can hear it rolling around in the bottem of the pully. i guess im going to have to drive it like it is for now till i can get some kind of magnet in thier or just tear it all apart if i relly have to. who knows maybe it will fall out.. i just hope it doesn't damage anything.

The bolts have got to be magnetic. You can fish it out if you try hard enough. I dropped one into my oil pan with the motor installed into the car and got the bitch out the front. I was 1 day away from pulling the motor when I pulled the bitch out.

im telling you they are NOT magnetic. if they are even a little bit its not enough to be able to get it out. i think im just going to have to pull the water pump. not what i wanted to do but thats the last straw.

Yeah, just pull the waterpump, its not that hard. probably a half hour job. Make sure youve got an extra gallon of dexcool ready to fill the radiator back up.

No bleed lines, just run the motor with teh cap off and keep topping off the radiator. You need to wait for the thermostat to open up so you should probably run the car for atleast 20 minutes. watch to make sure it dosnt overheat.
