Default header???? w/o sensors help inside

Ok heres the thing i have a 98 z28 and i have the opportunity to get long tube headers w/o the fitting

would this be good or bad??? they r long tubes and i know i would have to get my computer reprogrammed but should i or should i not???

300 for stainless headers

the kid order two cause it was cheaper and only needs one set please help
i don't have alot of experience with this and just having graduated high school i can't afford to waste money

you need the front O2's on your headers no matter what... w/or w/out a tune

you will need two bungs for the front O2's and either O2 sims for the rear or if you are planning on getting it tuned your tunner can turn the rear O2's off that way. Also w/ longtubes you will want a Y pipe and so forth depending on if you want to keep the converters.

so i can't get the front 02's removed???

can i put a fitting in the headers??? how hard??? how expensive??

you can pick up some O2 extensions for no more than $25

You can have the fittings put in the headers, it's just a question of drilling a hole, and welding on a threaded bung, if you can't do it, I'm sure an exhaust shop could help you out, probably for less than $100

well the guys house i would be installing them in a great welder and a very good mechanic and frame worker i havn't talked to him yet cause hes not familiar with ls1's hes old school...

he has built 2 67 camaros frame up that both run below 9's in his garage... h is neighbor tubs the cars and he does the rest but i was wondering if these brand new r work 300 still in the box not even unwrapped
