Hooker Offroad Y-Pipe Users... Help me out!!

Hooker Offroad Y-Pipe Users... Help me out!! Wife said the true duals were too loud <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> , so I'm going to a Hooker ORY into a SLP two-on-the left catback.
Just got the Hooker ORY in the mail today, and it looks like someone took a BFH to it!!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> The driver-side pipe and extension are literally flat on top!! Is this how they're supposed to look? Normally, I would just assume they got beat up in shipping, but it looks like they're specifically flattened in the places that would come in closest contact to the floor..
Those of you with Hooker OFY's, lemme know what you think.

Re: Hooker Offroad Y-Pipe Users... Help me out!! Yes, I contacted jet hot when I recieved the headers and y pipe. Thier Y pipe is the hooker y pipe. They said it was suposed to have 5 dents on it, and they were for clearance. 2 on the little piece that comes with it and 3 on the actual Y pipe its self. I was kinda sceptical of this at first to, but when installing them, it ended up being really close to the car so the dent were much needed.

Re: Hooker Offroad Y-Pipe Users... Help me out!! same here!! when i got mine in the mail i opened them up and raised all kind of hell then realized the dents were there so it wont hit the bottom of your car! what a relief
