first off, i would like to thank you guys in here for giving all the info and pics on YOUR true-dual installs
if it werent for the bunch of pics i found on here the exhaust guy wouldnt have had a clue on how to do mine
but i got MAC midlengths, flowtech Xpipe from summit (cheapo, only $30) 12" bullets, and turndowns before the axle. Went with a 2.5" system because my motor is stock except for minor bolt-ons.
The upper rpm range sound is just plain MEAN. I love it, just revving it up to about 5k, and it has a musclecar or nascar sound to it!
The interior sound is pretty.....um, annoying
that 1,800-2,000 rpm band rasp is NASTY to say the least, but im adapting to it
I had the privelage to hear a 30th TA at the local track over the weekend with MAC's, ORP and a dynomouth, and it actually sounded very similiar to mine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
But sometime soon, im gonna see if some dynomat under the carpet might work to keep int. noise down. And i gotta get the driver side pipe from the header to the X re-routed, because the blind muffler guy put it resting under a big bolt under my seat, and the bolt is knocking a hole into the pipe. I'm even gonna see if there's someway to hook up rubber grommets under there where the exhaust connects to the subframe to help cancel out some rattles.
any suggestions?
thanks again <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

take it back and have him move it. And while yer at it have the pipe extended all the way to the rear. Guys say they can go under the diff and still not have clearance issues. It'll get rid of the resonanace and quiet the interior
