Default hypertech fan settings?

will I benefit from putting the fan settings at the 180 temp setting with a stock thermo??

yeah. They will probably stay on constantly.

it might break the stock thermostat. you can get a 160 for 50 bucks

how can this break the thermo does it keep it open to long?

I have a 160 with mine set at 184/175 and 194/185 - days like today (99*) runs on high - 80* high speed cycles on/off depending of driving conditions (can see the LEDs cycle them). My settings are probably lower than the HPP temps. Try it, you can always return them to stock settings. Won't see it on your gauge though.
