Jet-hot lt install, reuse egr and air gaskets?
I was just wondering if you would reuse your air and egr gaskets? And do i need to put washers on the bolts that i put to connect the egr/air to the headers? I was also wondering how hard the install is and if anyone has the best procedure and any pics to include for the install those would be much appriciated.
Thanks

It's best NOT to re-use them, but if they didn't rip during disassembly I suppose you can- just make sure that you removed all debris from the flanges. I'd also put a dollop of red RTV (hi-temp) to help them seal. The install is an easy knuckle buster- raise the car- mine was up about 24-26" (higher is MUCH better), pull the old manifolds and Y, pull the plugs, point the wheels straight forward and remove the steering shaft (Helms says airbag system can be affected if the wheels are turned before / during shaft removal), remove the oil diverter plate (just above oil filter) and slide 'em in. It's about a three hour deal if you hustle. Everyone will tell you (rightfully so) that the driver's o2 bung is in the worst posible place as the 02 sensor will hit the brake line heat shield. You can have a new bung welded in the opposite side for cheap (the bung is $5.99 from summit or jeg's). Any muffler shop should weld it in for peanuts (just plug the old bung).
