Spark Plug Wires

Just wanted to know what the best wires are for a 98 Z. What are you guys using? Where did you get them? Thanks.

Taylor or MSD 8mm should be fine.

IMO, unless they are worn out, stock wires are just fine - ignition system on LS1 is pretty good, so those MSD, Taylor, etc. are mostly cosmetic mod.

I plan on changing the entire ignition system at some point, so I am interested in getting aftermarket wires.... My stock wires have about 340 Ohms of resistance in them, is this a common reading? The MSD wires claim 50 Ohms/ft, wouldn't this make the wires have about 50 Ohms compared to the 340 I am having now? I compared the Taylors to stock ones using a digital ohm meter and the stock ones consistently had higher ohm readings than the Taylor ones.. 156 for Taylor compared to 326-350 for stock.

Also every Taylor wire was dead on the same compared to the big fluctuation for the stock pieces.

FYI - the meter was set on "K - ohm"
