I wonder how you would "tune the collector length" Move them around while they are nice and hot on a chassis dyno? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I talked to Edelbrock, and the headers are 1.75 into 1.875 with a 3.5 slip collector. The 1&5/8 info was a mistake by their PR department.

Engineering said that the headers would be available in 30 to 45 days.

You will need to weld your own tabs on there.

Always nice to see a big company come out with stuff for us... I can't wait that long for my headers though.

That's how you connect the collectors to the headers.

Actually though, you aren't tuning the collector length, but the primary tube length, FWIW... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Still, seems like it would be a PITA to do. I really like the >$400 price though, even though they aren't coated...

yeah that price is awesome. Looks like they have AIR provisions too (which I need every 2 years for emissions)

I would like to see someone at near stock displacement buy and test these <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
