quick cutout question

quick cutout question Just bought a refurb QTP from Speed Inc and was wondering what I should hook into for power? Since it was a refurb, I received no paperwork. Will the fuse panel be enough? Or do I need a relay?
Also, what the HELL are they thinking making the 3" O.D.? Most exhausts are 3" O.D. (requiring a 3" I.D. for install) ...had to get the stupid thing flared

For a switched power source I ran mine under the carpet and connected it to the radio fuse - light will go off when you open the door. Or you can use the pink wire behind the traction control switch.

Also, anyone happen to have a set of instructions for this? Would like to look at any warnings etc about it. Speed Inc told me something about using sealant around the butterfly? Also, seems the bolts are a little on the short side coming out of the cutout itself
