Underdrive Pulley bolt ?s
I know that it's at least 160ftlbs, but dern I would have to go alot further to get it to 120 degrees. Is it absolutly necessary to go all the way to 120 degrees past 37ftlbs?
When I get the new bolt, I would like to make sure it doesn't back out. So would 160ftlbs along with some loctite blue do it?
BTW, I'm pretty happy with it. It's the 1st mod I've done that I can actually feel. Did the free mod stuff-cut back the EGR tube, T.B. coolant by-pass, throttle stop mod. Got pretty much nothing from all those by my highly tuned butt-dyno .
Debaffeled the hood and sealed it to the airbox-maybe a smidge from that {maybe 1mph in the 1/4}.
Bought a lid- not alot of difference I could feel{it did help at the track though}.
I'm really happy with the pulley though. Calibrated butt-dyno says good mod., even though I know the gains are about the same as the Lid from what I've read. It feels better though-don't really know why. Actually my butt-dyno is pretty shabby. I generally can't feel less than 25 horse sneaky pete shot. I know some folks who can change oil and swear they can feel they gained 3 whopping horse power!
