I want to know if a passenger side cat from a 02 camaro will work on a 00 camaro. If it matters its an SS

Yes, however, you will have to weld it on, but the question is; why would you take a chance on installing a used catalytic converter? Why not buy a new one and get a much better exhaust flow?

Because buying a new cat is just way too expensive! Especially for a part that i dont even want on my car

You can get a magnaflow cat for like $75. That is not way to expensive. However it prob wouldnt work on a stock y-pipe.
