Here is how I mounted mine. Will there be any problems with this?

As long as its suspended in the air I don't see why there whould be a problem. If its just resting on the filter there may be.

I'd just carefully drill a hole, get a gasket, and mount it in the stock location to be sure.

I like that lid though. MTI right?

TSP Lid.

The sensor doesnt touch the filter since its kinda bulky and there is a little "cage" around it anyway.

Some guys are saying the air may be warmer there than the stock location. I don't really see why it would make much of a difference.

Drill a hole and use a grommet, do it right. Will look much better! Will also save you wire harness.

The wire is fine, it isn't pinched.

Drove fine today and its damn hot outside too. I'll have to see how it goes when we get to tuning.
