PROBLEM.... NEED YOUR HELP... Alright guys Im about out of ideas for this..
Here is the problem...
I can drive the car down the road and all of sudden it will just quit and start backfiring. It may backfire once, twice, or three times. I have an open exhaust and its LOUD when it backfires. It seems to happen in spurts. One day it may do it 50 times, and another time it may not do it for 2 days straight.. I replaced the crank position sensor since it did show up once during a SES light. I wasnt exactly sure on how to do a Crank Relearn though. But it still has the same problem. Does anyone have ANY ideas on what this could be.. it mostly happens at low RPMs but it has happened at high RPMS as well... Im afraid some older person is going to die of a heart attack as I go by and the car backfires.. It sounds LOUDER than a shotgun and my buddy says it shoots flames out the rearend.
All help is GREATLY appreciated, because as of now I am out of ideas...
