Default Anyone get their new QTPs yet?

I am just wondering how many sets have made it out yet. I have a set on order and have been patiently waiting, but after my stock exhaust manifold decided to take a crap on me this weekend at the track, I am really hurting for them.

Not trying to bash QTP or anything - just curious to see if anyone has the new sets yet.

How long have you been waiting for yours? Have you called QTP yet to ask for follow up info?

I have been waiting 6 weeks so far. I called about an hour ago. Barry said his guy was sick but they are back at it. He did not want to give me any new time frame though. Me thinks it may take a little while longer. But they say good things come to those who wait.

I've been on the hook for 5-6 weeks. And yes I've made a phone call or two. The problem I have is that I put my cam in a few weeks ago expecting the headers to be there within a week, and that hasn't happened. There is so much back pressure in my exhaust right now it isn't even funny. Big cam w/ no headers equals unhappy manifolds.

I just got off the phone with Barry. I placed my order.. He is a GREAT guy to talk to, really knows his stuff.

He has quite a few orders on back order but is really doing what he can to get them out the door.

Don't get me wrong - Barry at QTP is great and has been more than happy to tell me whats going on. Its just sucks to constantly think they are going to come in and then finding out its going to be another week or two. Especailly when I sold my SLPs expecting the QTPs were going to be in. But as you can see, I am still waiting it out as I think they are a great quality product, and I'm hoping for some big numbers with those bad boy merge collectors.

I hope they didn't charge your credit card when you placed the order.

I have mine...I ordered them Jan 2 and it took a few months, but I got 1 of the 2 origional no merge "prototypes". Keep in mind they are made in runs (i.e. 25 at a time...and the sooner the order was in the sooner you get it. Since this is a small operation, you may have to wait a bit and all i can say is I get on the cartek dyno tomorrow and I'll post results. Fit was awesome (y took a little elbo grease though, but nice peice). These appear to be great headers to the point that Redline Motorsports, which worked on the install, claimed they were now the headers they will recommend for all f-bodys. And they do alot of installs. As far as timing...take expected time frame,,,double it, and wait a week or two. But its worth it unless you wanna drop hundreds more elsewhere for a similar fit and quality stainless header.
