****Open Headers**** Question? Is it bad to run ls1 cars open headers say at the track or on a weekend. I know I do it all the time on my other cars but they have carbuerated engines with no emissions. Just wandering if this would hurt anything or throw any codes. 
Running open headers burns up O2 sensors. I haven't done it myself so I'm not exactly sure on time.....but I hear it can happen rather fast.

Clamping a 12-18" of open pipe onto your headers will really help the O2's out, I don't recommend running open headers unless you're driving to an exhaust shop or something. Gains are usually minimal anyway. The front O2's are not an emissions control device, they help determine your cars A/F ratio.
