QTEC installed !! I just finished up on my qtec install after an adventure in getting someone to weld the cutout in for me. I must say this thing is really cool and works really good. It's so awesome to be able to open up the exhaust at will. I can't wait to do it to someone at a red light <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . I'll see as time goes on if it starts leaking or not but for now it does not leak at all. It's a very nice product that I would recommend to anybody.
Re: QTEC installed !! I just got one too. Very cool. Mine broke right away though. The next day. They told me to send it to them and they fixed it and sent it back right away. My wires melted while it was out, so I have to splice them back together. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> . This time I will go through the drain whole under the back seat instead of the shifter boot.

Re: QTEC installed !! i just got mine installed and it broke on me to, mine is stuck in the closed position. i also had a leaking problem when i first got it, so i have to send it back to them this week.

You can open it half way, quarter way, fully open, etc. total cost was around 140 bucks if I remember right, The wiring is really easy as well and the hardest part of the install is getting someone to weld up the cutout when you do not have cats ( I was told repeatedly today by several shops that they would not touch my car due to it not having cats). I was able to use it today against some dude cruising in his stang with his girl, they were looking over at me the whole time with that WTF look, I was laughing inside <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> , it has been great fun so far,, looking forward to using it more.

Re: QTEC installed !! I installed mine last weds. No problems yet. The sound is totally bas a$$. I do feel like I lost a little tourque down low but it pulls a lot harder up top. Did anyone else feel like they lost some torque?
