My belt tensioner just want bad and is squealing now. I still have a warrenty but I dont want any of those monkeys at a dealer (No offense 2 the ones who do good work, I work at a dealer also) touching my car considering the last time I went for a window motor, I got my car back with 2 holes in the bottom of the door and 3 drill bit dents on my rocker
. So my question is should I just replace it with a factory one of should I get a aftermarket one?

It might be the idler pulley. I have an occasional squeak that comes and
goes and I was reading a thread here that said it is usually caused by the
idler pulley p/n 12564401

Aftermarket.

It might also be related to your a/c system, which has its own belt/pullies. Get the car running, get it squealing, kill the car, remove main belt, and see if it stops.
If not, remove a/c belt and see if it stops. You might just try tightening the idler pulley before you do anything. Mine came loose and was SCREAMING.
