Thats the a/c compressor, I believe. How has your a/c been?

Is the pulley you are refering to, driven by the assessories belt (6 rib) or the a/c belt (4 rib)? If it is that a/c compressor, maybe the clutch went out on it, or something. A bearing maybe? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
I don't know how the TB bypass could have to do with that. So I would rule that out.

My a/c clutch was making a funny/annoying noise a while back. So I just took the a/c belt off.
