What to do with my MSD stuff Hi
Had MSD coils and superconductor wires on my LS1. 4 of the coils failed over time. Eventually 3 failed completely and one had low output. They degraded over time with no SES codes until the very end. Cost me quite a bit to get it sorted out and realized I had to put the old coils back on.
A short time after that it developed a misfire at WOT. After more scanning and screwing around I could not find the problem. I went ahead and changed the plugs and wires. It turned out that 2 MSD wires had high resistance.
MSD has replace the 4 coils and is sending me 2 new wires. However, I am afraid to put this **** back on my car. What should I do with them? Perhaps I should ask Mr. MSD to stick them where the sun don't shine.
