problem craking 383...for the first time....help....!!!!

problem craking 383...for the first time....help....!!!! i just got done droppin in my 383..... i connected everything and all the negatives and starter right and when i went to try to crank it it makes a weired sparking sound>???? i dont seem to know the problem......when i disconect the coil packs it stops......what do you guys think it might be.???maybe my starter is put in wrong.....i will try to attemp again tommorrow....any ideas????

i didnt do no damage to the block....or fuses ......???i only put it in the start about 3 times to try to find it and tried to crank it about 2 times......it was to dark to see what the problem was....ill start tommorrow morning????maybe its the starter i put it in a hurry.....maybe its touchin a wire somewher down there..
