Re: CORSA SUCKS!! thats fine if your lm has a 3 inch over the axle pipe. The way the corsa is made and goes together makes the over the axle heat sheild very close to the pipe. Its a problem that happens a lot, most people with "bad mufflers" are really having th eover the axle pipe rub.

Re: CORSA SUCKS!! had my borla for 5 years and it sounds and looks the same as when I got it the only thing is the brackets for it suck it should be welded. Very expensive but you get what you pay for 5 years and still brand new

Re: CORSA SUCKS!! Are you really 100% sure it is the muffler and not any other connections/heat sheilds that are rubbing. People are assigning any rattle with their exhaust to a "bad muffler", fact is they changed the process and no longer make the mufflers like they used to when the welds would fail. I had mine installed about 7 months ago and i have a rattle too, but i am 100% sure it is not the muffler. The corsa has one of the biggest over the axle pipes and this causes the pipe to rub on the heat sheild. I have had to beat the heat sheild mutliple times, only for it to come back in a couple months. But when it happens again i know that it isnt my muffler. You should put the back of the car on ramps(suspension has to be loaded) and try to put your hands around the pipe and follow it from the muffler to th i-pipe. I am fairly sure you will have less then adequate clearance at the over the axle pipe. I am just about to adjust the system so it wont rub instead of hitting the heat sheild to fix it for good. I would hate to see someone go through all that trouble of shipping multiple mufflers out only to find that their over the axle pipe has less than 1" of clearance. If it feels like there is plently of clearance then shake the system and try to find where it rattles or hits. If not then just hit the heat sheild above the over the axle pipe up and see if this fixes it(can't hurt), because it flexes out on the roads.

Re: CORSA SUCKS!! It is definitely the muffler, xcespwr. It is pretty obvious when you switch it out, and the sound goes away.
Anyway, a buddy just sold his WS6, so I picked up a practically new GMMG for $400. Woohoo. Much better quality, all around! I highly recommend this exhaust.
