6.0 Starter Question
6.0 Starter Question I am running my original starter from a 98, my question is, with a 6.0 and a larger cam, should i be running a higher torque starter?
My car hesitated today for the 1st time to start.. It just wouldnt turn over but i could hear the starter bumping, after it cooled down it cranked right up. I was lost for about 10 minutes there on what the deal was..
I am also running the original altenator, has anyone upgraded this to or is stock fine? Thanks

Everything on an LS1 can swap over to a 6.0 so there should be no problems there. The problem most likely lies within either your battery is dying, the connections to the battery are loose/corroded, or your starter is goin out. It shouldn't be anything related to using LS1 parts on a 6.0.
I think you've got battery/alternator problems or the starter is just crapping out. People run 400+ ci motors and 12:1 compression with stock starters and have no problems.
